URGENT! WIRING ON EARLY ELECTRIC-START T - OR TRYING TO CONTACT WARWICK LANDY (OR SOMEONE WITH CANADIAN SERVICE MANUAL)
Hi All,
Long time, me not post - but I am still around.
Bottom line up front - does anyone have a diagram and/or pictures of the high-mounted generator and electric starter of a Canadian T from when it was first available (1920)?
I am trying to help the family of a chap whose 1920 Canadian T, with and early electric starter, needs some urgent re-wiring attention. (The owner is currently in hospice care and the family desperately want to get his T to him, correctly finished.)
I am told that I had a Forum discussion on this subject with Warwick Landy or Victoria, Australia around 2017 but I have not been able to find it.
If anyone can please assist, please add to this thread or please email me at tourist.times@xtra.co.nz
Thank you in advance.

Never even knew such a creature existed... I noticed the blocks are the early style, no boss on the right side as the USA motors had from 1919...
Of course, this makes me wonder if, using this bracket (or a repop thereof, as the originals are likely both pretty rare and a 2 year only item) you could actually convert a LHD pre-19 T to a starter (and hogsgead) and generator... *That* could be interesting...

Hi John, It is rare that I miss a forum post and one that mentions my name, but I did miss it! however, your friend David Carver alerted me this post and I will do what I can to help out. Her are some of the RHD generator pics. i may need to scan for from my Canadian manual If I cant find them in my files.

John,
Is the vehicle anywhere near Canterbury?
Might be able to help more directly if so...
(will email you tomorrow, unfortunately I can't do so from this computer right now)

Thanks so much for all the input.
For Warwich - that is the info they were looking for, thank you very much.
For Luke - yes, the car is in Canterbury. You may know Chris Dyer - he is co-ordinating the efforts, and I'm sure he would be pleased to hear from you.
