Has anyone used the aluminum "T-bucket" hotrod radiators on a period style T? I'm looking at getting a new radiator for my '25, and 200 bucks is a heck of a lot more palatable than 800...

If you want to restore your T to a stock appearance motor wise you will have to relocate the top outlet and either remove the automatic transmission line fittings for a more correct appearance. And maybe some more alterations if need be. It won’t just drop into a stock original T. The add is sort of misleading because it says Model T until you start looking at it and ‘read the fine print’. It’s made for Hot Rod use exclusively.
If you can tig weld that’s a plus since it’s made of aluminum and you can make the alterations yourself.

It’s been done by some here on the forum and you can do a search and read about them.
The radiator is made of aluminum and not copper so that’s a difference if it matters to you.

One thing to remember is most T bucket radiators are cut down (shortened). Don.

There are probably more radiators for autos that would come pretty close to fit a T radiator shell besides the Mustang radiator. That’s an alternative for sure and it does work.

It would be nice if we could get Speedway Motors in Nebraska to order a batch with the correct inlets and outlets. They sell a lot of t bucket parts and have a Speedster reunion at the museum every other year. I also need to recommend you all go visit the museum. It is huge and awesome.

Wonder how many would be a minimum order and how many of us would purchase even if we don't need it at the time?
