'26/'27 touring.
Trying to get new springs and upholstery going.
All is fine for the rear seat. Looks like things will fit.
The back rest of the front seems to fit as well.
The front seat bottom springs seem to be extra wide.
The perch for the front seat measures just about 39 inches.
The new spring I received for the touring measures about 42 inches.
What should I have asked for?

Where did you get the new spring, Snyders? Whatever, I'd call the supplier back and tell them what you found....perhaps supply them with the measurements from the old spring.
The springs I got for my '17 touring were perfect, top quality and great service.

Where are you measuring, between the seat frame sides or upholstery? Did you check the number on the box to see if it matches what you ordered?

Talked to Snyder’s.
They are sending me the smaller seat spring.
I measured at the door jams, but in the pedestal.

The new seat spring showed up from Snyder's.
I really was surprised how fast they got it to me.
Fits great!
With a lousy day at work, this was a great pick me up.
Now to get it painted and covered.

Snyder’s is a top notch parts supplier. Always have good luck with them. They serve the Model T and Model A market.
I believe Snyder’s got their business start making seat springs. They have been in business for a good while.

Not that I know of BUT Mike at Classtique will install your upholstery on your springs - or at least he did for a friend of mine.
