Would anyone know if the early 11/12 steering column / mounting flange section at the fire wall be the same between Left Hand Drive and Right Hand Drive vehicles.

I don't think so Michael. One of the lower holes is off-set. That hole will be different from L to RHD. This will also mean that the outer metal shell on the column will also be different on the firewall side of the lower flange. This won't be seem when any column is fitted.

Allan from down under.

60 year ago I built up a right hand drive `1909 roadster using a cover from England I used the original steering column. I used a new dash and it worked just fine. I altered the parts on the left hand column.

It is my understanding the mounting holes on the 1911 steering column are symmetric. The one lower offset hole came along in early calendar 1912. I don't remember why they changed it, or when the changed it back.
