I've got no idea what the car is but there is a more detailed version of the photo on Wikipedia.

That strange recurve on the bottom of the windshield lower half would be a giveaway - whatever it is I sure want one! Darned pretty car!
Question - how do we know that the green shown in the colorized version is what that color was? Always wondered how they could take a shade of monochrome gray from Silver Oxide and determine what the original color was...

It sure looks like a Scripps Booth from about 1916-1918. Great cars.

Started out looking for other year
Liberty cars because the windshield base in the picture above was different. Found the
Scripps-Booth Roadtser https://www.earlyamericanautomobiles.com/1914.htm the ID in that picture is incorrect - correct id in museum

Matching id points:
-Color of Top, car and wheel spokes
-Bottom of window frame and split windshield
-Trim over firewall behind hood
-Trim around running board (restored car may need to modify running board material)

I was thinking SB but I couldnt see the oval rear windows and fenders to be sure. I think you nailed it also. Pretty unique lower windshield and cowl.

Scripps-Booth. Never heard of it, but I sure do like that flowing cowl design. Whoever designed it is the Michelangelo of automobile designers. Scripps-Booth was an American auto manufacturing Company located in Detroit. That is why I was unable to find it after numerous searches. With the WW I re-enactment photo appearing to be located in France, I was assuming it was a European car such as Renault, which had a similar cowl, but not exact. The photo is of a 1916 Scripps-Booth. Jim Patrick
