I just received my November/December yesterday from Vintage Ford. Can you send me your January/February when you’re done with it? I’ll get it quicker

Got mine today here in Northern California. Great article on driving an over loaded TT over the old Ridge Route in the 1930's.

If things remain true to form, I hope to receive the Jan/Feb issue sometime in late March or early April.
Better late than never, so they say.
I blame it on living in NJ.

Folks
Talking with the VF Editor. The Nov/Dec VF magazine was sent out about Thanksgiving time.
The Jan / Feb VF magazine was sent about 4 February.
Considering I was still getting Christmas cards in mid January, our postal system is inundated and hasn't obviously caught up with itself.
The MTFCA and VF staff work diligently to put out an awesome and timely magazine. We are working on the future of going digital which should alleviate the lost time for delivery (and USPS Jail of our magazine) - we're unfortunately, for now, still at the mercy of a hand delivered system.
I know this doesn't get you the magazine any faster - I'm sorry - just wanted you to know we're aware of this problem and will continue to do our best in getting the Vintage Ford to you as best as technology allows.

Got mine yesterday, so it took seven days to get here. I've seen worse. If I expressed my opinion of the reasons for slow delivery it would be considered political, but it would be bipartisan.

Steve -
You have my number, feel free to share your thoughts on the postal system. I haven't gotten my mailed copies yet either.
The bad news is once the postal services receive the magazines, they are truly out of our control. International mail is even slower. The good news is towards the end of last year we tested access to an online digital copy of the magazine, in ADDITION to, not instead of, the mailed copy sent to our international members. It was well received and gave international members the opportunity to see the magazine (online) at roughly the same time as U.S. members were receiving their mailed copies.
We will be rolling out this free, bonus-access to the digital magazine for our U.S. members later this year.
We know some of you may not have internet access or would prefer viewing the printed copy, but for those who do, be sure to include your email address when you renew your memberships.
Respec"T"ively yours,

My wife and I were co-editors of a local chapter for a different car club, putting out a newsletter every month for four years. We were the photographers of the events. We interviewed people and typed up the verbatim later. We sent out paper copies to whomever wanted it in print and PDFs to those preferring electronic. Some members wanted both...no problem. In some cases, both husband and wife wanted electronic with two separate email addys. Other chapter presidents and editors in the state received it as a PDF.
There was another club we belonged to that didn't email the newsletter out at all but you could go to the web site and download it once a month.
I am happy with whatever the MTFCA and Vintage Ford decide because I know that it is a lot of work. Thanks to y'all.
