Another Block with No Serial?

My '14 Touring has a later engine with generator & starter. There is no serial that I can make out. My eyes are no longer as sharp as they used to be so often I will shoot some pictures & look over things on the big screen of the confuser.
In this case, I'm still not sure. Sometimes I think I can see numbers but a second look seems to show different numbers or even no numbers. Is this an un-numbered block or possibly one that had the numbers ground off? If I read the casting correctly, this looks to be 5/8/19.

Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but on those pictures, it looks like I can see a few numbers stamped in. I don't see a complete number. Maybe, if you go over the area with fine sandpaper on a block, the flat surface rust and dirt will be removed, leaving the indentations more visible?

Do you have a title? If you do does it show a I.d. number?
It could be that if you use some light sandpaper and sand off the paint where the number is suppose to be you might find traces of it. Use the light sand paper and use some lacquer thinner and it might bring some thing out.
It suppose to be right above the water outlet.

Looking at the area where the I’d number is suppose to be it looks there is a steel spacer between the block and the flange of the water outlet. Maybe my old eyes are deceiving me but looks that way to me. The flange isn’t suppose to cover the flat area above the outlet.

It looks more like that the # pad has been filled going by the shape left of the water pad. usually the water and # pad are of the one machining.

A 1919 number pad or boss should look like this 1919:

probably a replacement block and the number was not stamped.

I do have a VIN that has been registered to this car since at least 1965, the earliest paperwork I have. That number is 593228 which the good book says dates to October 02, 1914. On the dash is a data plate with another number 558957 which dates to August 17, 1914.
The numbers I sometimes think I see are very small, too small to reasonably resemble the numbers I have seen on other T blocks. My eyes could be playing tricks.
I just pulled the inlet casting off as part of the radiator flushing process and will clean the area up and shoot some more pictures.

I think what we are seeing as a small ledge is actually a brass or similar metal gasket squeezed between two layers of akum pucky. Jim

Here are a couple of pictures showing the area now the inlet casting has been removed to drain the flush out of the cooling system. This time the flash was used.

I'm still saying the pad has been filed.

Its sure possible but if so the filer was careful to do the job evenly. There are certainly scratches.

The first photo convinced me the area had been ground down to a thinner level.
Most blocks I have ever seen have the water inlet and serial number area ground to the same level.
I always suspected that was here the molten iron was poured in the mold and it had to be cut and polished after the block cooled.
