1927 Roadster Windshield Advice
I've been trying unsuccessfully to find a windshield frame for my 1927 Roadster. I posted a WTB on the forum but no luck. So... do any of you have experience with reproduction frames, like the ones Speedway Motors sells? Is there anything I need to watch out for, or is it a pretty vanilla reproduction part? Is cutting glass for this frame something any local glass shop can do? (Remember the 1927 windshield is curved on the bottom) Thanks.

I like Speedway Motors and have bought some great tools from them. That said, based on the comments for their windshield frame, I'd be inclined to stick with a supplier that specializes in T parts. Lang's is a good choice: https://www.modeltford.com/item/78205.aspx

I had a repro frame in my roadster and it was a nice product I think I got it from langs and then powder coated it gloss black. the one at speedway I believe is 2 inches shorter than the originals

I bought two windshields at swap meets which didn't fit. One is Chevrolet as I found out later, the other was cut down to fit a speedster.
I had the stanchions but not the frames. I bought reproduction frames from Chaffin's Garage in Corona Ca and they fit perfectly.
