Hello All,

I'm a newbie on your forum.
Admin suggested I reach out to you experts.

I have a Model T I think its a 1917 roadster and I have a 1923 Dodge touring car. We need to establish a value to these cars as part of an Estate and then look at selling them both. Both used to be displayed in a museum and both are complete. I have pictures.
I know its difficult for you guys (and gals ?) to start throwing out numbers without actually seeing the cars. We are just looking for ball park numbers.

I believe you have some Model T experts in your local area around Victoria.
You may want to reach out to the clubs there to see if someone could give you a first hand look at the cars.

Post some detail pictures here and they will tell you everything you will need to know.
Having someone to look personally is always good.
Funny thing about being in a museum, does not always mean that it is correct.
I have seen Model T in museums and laughed at how wrong thing were.
Also museum T's don't always to run they are built for display.
It could be a good project for someone to put it back on the road.
Just don't get your hopes up really high.

Prices on Dodge of that era are on par with Model T's.
Nice thing about both the Model T's and Dodge's, there are a lot of people in the NW and BC that have them. So there might be someone closer then you think that can lend a hand.

Problem, as I would think, with the D.B. car, is parts availability....are there any? This could drastically affect the car, unless it's in such nice shape so as to be just used as an item "to look at". As for the '17 T, again, condition, both cosmetically as well as mechanically can really swing the price. So lets say it's got a very good paint job, and the mechanicals are at least "very good", good rubber, good uphosltery, etc. it could have a range of $10K-$15K.

RE Dodge;
Used parts yes, new yes. New parts, far less then available then for the Model T. The new parts are not cheap.The two main new parts suppliers are;

The Dodges are pretty darn robust to start with, most running gear is over built. The three forums for Dodge's are pretty helpful so it does have a good network. Surprising, there are a few of the regular posters here that had or have a Dodge in their collection.
