I have a Alum case older transmission. How do I determine the correct installation? The mounting flanges on both ends are the same. I think I have installed back words as my emergency brake high/lever lever doesn't 'line up?? Ought to be simple but I am confused. Thanks for your help!

You might want to look at this link for some ideas.

One end had an input shaft (front) the other a hole (rear for the U-joint) you couldn't install backwards. The cross shaft for the parking brakes rides under the center where the two mate and would have room to swing both ways. Not sure I understand about the parking brake lever not lining up? Photos? Is there something you are leaving out like an equalizer for outside brakes?

I too am currently wanting to install a KC Warford. There has been a lot of useful information posted by folks
much more knowledgeable than myself on the subject. Thank you. Question: Does anyone know of a source
for a (Warford) support brace which I am told I will need. Thanking all of you in advance.

Do a search of mtfca; warford brace (or support)
In your case you would want a spring loaded support not solid like the cast iron type to allow the frame to flex. With the aluminum cased type, the brace really is not needed but I think is a good idea.
