I am reposting several photos that I posted several days of my coupe. I need help deciding how to proceed with removing paint from inside and outside of the body for preparation for painting.

When I did my '22 Coupe I used aircraft paint stripper that I purchased at NAPA. It is strong and precautions need to be taken to protect your skin but it took the paint off. It would loosen the paint and make it bubble up so I used plastic scrapers to take off the heavy stuff and put it in an old bucket then It needs to be washed off with water. I had my Coupe disassembled so it wasn't too hard to do a piece at a time. You can also sand the paint but wear a respirator. Removing the paint and prepping the surface will take some time and is one of the most important steps in refinishing.

The paint I see under the dirt and dust looks pretty good. After washing it, you should try using rubbing compound to remove the oxidation and renew the finish. Done right, you might be able to obtain a mirror like shine. Meguiar’s makes a great rubbing compound. Jim Patrick
