Chickasha ride.

Post by Erik Barrett » Thu Mar 04, 2021 5:56 pm

I will heading for Chickasha from Northern California on March 15. Anyone need a ride part or all the way and a place to stay? I have a big motor home and trailer combo so there is room to take stuff and bring stuff home. It just doesn’t make sense to make the trip solo. I would prefer someone confident with driving this large rig. Some help with the diesel would be welcome too. Erik.

How thoughtful Erik! You’ve really made this s ‘brotherhood’ Forum !
I don’t know why I turned out this way. My parents were decent people.

Sounds like fun, I drove Oilfield tankers and over the road for a few years so I probably could handle the Motorhome.

Unfortunately, it looks like I will be home working on carburetors hoping to get yelled at less by getting some done.

I’ve no doubt you can handle it. It drives like a dream, it’s just big. Some time I need to pay you so you can put my carb on the list. It’s a Zenith or Stromberg I think. I gave it to you last time we met at Chickasha.

I've forgotten the deal exactly but I think we did a different one then you gave me another one. I have one on a shelf with your name on it. I think it's a Zenith U5 or U6.

Whatever you think is good. It will be on a Rajo BB overhead equipped model T with a stout bottom end so it will need some carburetor and I would like it to have an adjustable main jet like we spoke about.

I'll talk to you about it somewhere else. Somebody will bitch that I'm promoting my carburetor business if I respond here.

I deleted all of it I could.
