An semi-educated guess would be one of the Roof heads. I’m pretty sure Robert Roof had some involvement with Laurel.

It was intended to fit over the intake/exhaust manifolds of the B and BB heads and retain heat. Somewhere I have a Laurel - Roof advertisement showing it in place. Fred Houston put one on his A head.

AH YES! I see how they will work to help heat the intake manifold. The seller led me astray by calling them "valve covers" and selling them in pairs when only one is used per car!
Thanks for clearing that up.
