1926/1927 Top Wood kit

Post by JoeG48 » Fri Mar 08, 2019 8:49 am

Has anyone installed a top wood kit for a 1927 Model T Coupe that was purchased from The Ford Wood Co. If so how was the fit or did you have to rework any of the pieces ( cut or reshape any of the pieces ) Thanks for any help ...... Joe Gallagher ... joeg48@hotmail.com

Most of the wood kits for Model T’s from the kit makers usually need some fit up to fit to your T. Unless you make your wood pieces from your original wood patterns this usually occurs. Some more some less.
Unless the pieces are way off they will fit with a little persuasion. Wood body structure in T’s isn’t an exact science because of the small variations in the metal bodies.
