Sometimes you luck out far away from the swap meet fields... on a table in an antique mall my dad snagged a nice Rubes horn for me last weekend. Nice to find deals from time to time. Its in decent shape and destined for the firewall of my cut-down touring some day. Its not perfect, but i find the originally paint and patina a thing of beauty. Just thought I'd share.

That is nicer than a fancy polished up brass horn. Can't beat the price.

Agreed! Always like to see original paint, no matter the condition. Matches my truck just right.

It's nice to hear that the delightful collage of old paint and varied degrees of tarnish is appreciated. It can always be polished but only time and mother nature can contrive that beauty.
Thanks for showing us.
