I didn't want to tag along with Tom's road pictures, so a separate post.
Bridge across the Baraboo River just east of Wonewoc, Wisconsin. Taken by my grandfather, Ben Ostergren Sr. and his brother Herb. Sept 13,1916. The caption in their photo album read: "Not built for heavy traffic but it got us across".
The replacement bridge at the same spot, exactly one hundred years later, Sept 13, 2016. Stone from the original supports still lays along the river bank.
