When you have teachers and schools telling every child "Good job!" even when the math or spelling is wrong? You get arrogant jerks for adults that are too stupid to realize that they are idiots.

I was a public school teacher for 23 years and never told a child "good job!" when it wasn't. I don't know of any other teacher in our school that did that either.

I know that can't be a "genuine" Ford steering wheel! It's backwards!

There are a lot of post in the community section from people that signed up on eBay and on that same day ask dumb a$$ questions just because they can, then that is the last you hear from them (happens on Fordbarn too). LOL Block them! :)
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

John Codman, I have a great deal of respect for good teachers. And it sounds like you may be one. But have you ever lived in Califunny ? (I call it that for long-standing reasons!).
Twenty to thirty years ago, our kids were in school here. My wife worked for the school district (in administration and accounting). And we fought with the schools a lot over how they taught things.
We see it almost every day here. Adults that are barely literate. They cannot spell even at a fifth grade level. They are clueless about the different forms of homonyms (to, two, too, there, their, they're). They cannot do simple math. One of the local news reporting sites on the internet almost always has the math wrong on the daily report of covid19 statistics (the difference between 719 and 727 is twelve?????).
And when one speaks with a lot of these people in person? One finds that those people do not understand that anything they do is not correct! They were their whole lives told "Good job!" whether they were right or not. They grow up to be lousy workers. Nasty neighbors. Bad drivers. And one can guess the people they vote for?
We the people are in BIG trouble.

Yes, my daughter questioned the citizenship of a fellow employee that could not speak english. She was informed by managment that the empoyee was born and raised in L.A. Cal. and had a high school diploma from L.A. county school district. "AND COULD NOT SPEAK ENGISH" God Bless good teachers but as far as I'm concerned to hell with most of the school districts, boards and adminstrations that make it near impossible for them to do their job.
Darn I almost fell off my soap box.

Craig,
I am a person that lives in LA, the designation used by the USPS.
I want to thank you for using L.A. when referring to CA.

I haves a Business friend in Sweden. One day I asked him how he came about to speak English so well. His answer: "Many years ago the Swedish Government required all Citizens to learn English because they realized no other Country was going to require Swedish as a second language"
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

I forgot where I read this but it stated that a moron lacks the exact traits needed to be able to tell he was a moron. Seems to explain a lot.
Forget everything you thought you knew.
