23 T Roadster...Do any of you have problems with your carb adjusting rod, firewall to carb, turning on its own? When I get mine adjusted to where I want it, the vibration of the T seems to make the adjustment turn. I must be missing something that would put some friction on this rod..I don't have a grommet in the firewall. Maybe that is what's missing? Thanks...Tommy

Had the same problem on a Kingston L4 carb. I just replaced the carb adjustment needle clamp nut and snugged it down real good and that solved that problem the remaining time I had that carb on the car. The old clamp nut must have been wore down on the inner diameter and wasn’t holding the needle under driving vibration anymore.

David nailed it. Just tighten/replace the brass nut that clamps the mixture needle.

Don't go hog wild getting it tight. Snug enough that the rod does not turn on it own, but loose enough that you can still turn it without forcing it.
