Do you have to twist and lock the reflector in place? It seems like the pressure between the spring and the headlight ring would hold it in place. It just seems very fragile to press against the spring and then trying to twist it in place. Thoughts? Thanks..Tommy

Yes, twist to lock the rectangular slots or notches against the flat flange of the headlamp bucket. The circular spring fingers provide tension to the reflector with its rope gasket to push against the rim and lens to prevent rattling or lost.

The reflector if left in the exit/entrance position will impede the rim rivets tabs from locking to the bucket or create loose rattle too.

Notch for placing reflector to clear the headlamp bucket locking recess for the rim rivet ends. Rotate reflector pass the bucket locking recess.
