Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
A Model F would be nice, say a 1904 with a rear seat unit.. A 2 cylinder auto with a strong engine over the Model A, similar to the AC engine, I assume. Not as many around as the NRS series. Eligible for the one and two cylinder tours. Anything 1904 or older are in a special class.

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
A slightly newer A, bought a '30 Coupe a couple years ago and appreciate the comfort, brakes and power. Still much prefer back roads but know that I can drive it almost anywhere without fear of being run over from behind. Before the A I probably would have replied a '56 Fairlane Victoria and if I had the space and a few more spare shekels . . .

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
Well, my first car in high school was a red and rusty 1992 two door Ford Tempo....soooo I would sweep that up quickly. However I would gladly settle for a 65 Mustang convertible instead.

'56 Crown Vic without the glass roof. Had one once and you would bake on a sunny day. Loved the lines of these cars, performance was good too. Great cruiser. 2nd choice would be a Model A Roadster, but I got one of those (or most of one).

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
Gil, oh that a Model B (1905) were in our stable....
Were I to go a little more modern, dads 2nd car was a 34 Ford 2 door sedan (first was a 25 Ford T he and his brothers drove to high school in the late 30’s). Growing up, rumor was it was the fastest car in Seward County. When dad came home from WWII, he said his youngest brother had “driven the wheels off it.”:
Regardless, I, like many of us, have been the most fortunate to enjoy this hobby with so many.

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
From 1999 to 2015 my daily driver was a '65 Mustang 2+2 (Fastback). I put over 150,000 miles on it, took it apart, and restored it. I had it back on the road for about a month when a guy in a new F-150 ran a stop sign and t-boned me, and totally destroyed it. He admitted to doing 45 when he hit me. I still miss that car.

I would drive a Model A like the one I have because it is an old car, but handles a lot like a modern car.

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
Any pre-T letter car! I believed the model K was misrepresented in the history books, even before Rob wandered into the dark side! If a wish could make it so, one of those would be my first choice. Any two cylinder model would be second choice. But I have always wanted a model N. Not hard to please, any one or more would be fine!
And? Ford made cars after the model T?

Not a wish....had it since 1985.
1973 Grand Torino Sport fastback, originally from NC. 351C with 4V closed chamber heads, 11:1 compression. Needs the flywheel replaced and me to finish getting it ready to paint, for the second time. Thought I had a picture, but can’t find it.
(After divorce in 97, I got a Harley....so it sat)

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
I would be ecstatic to own any of the lettered cars before the 'T' or an open '32. I had a Model A and a 1947 Tudor. I still have a '35 Panel Delivery, a '65 F100 and a '65 Mustang. The T's are as great as any of them.

I'd like to have a nice 1930 roadster in Washington Blue with black fenders and a stock, cherry, 1948 F-3 V-8 Pickup in that army green color. (But I'd settle for a ratty 1936 3-window coupe.... )

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
Specifically Ford, or any FOMOCO product ?
Generally speaking, I don't like Fords, .... but a few were exceptional enough
to interest me. 60-61 Starliner would top the list of Fords. A 61 Country Squire
would rank up there too. 66 Mustang in the right configuration would be nice.
But if I could have ANY product of the FOMOCO family, it would be one of these:
The dash is boring, but the rest of the car has a pretty way-out George Jetson/
aircraft carrier look. They go down the road like a cloud.

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
I will never let the Mustang fastback go that I rode in the back seat of when my parents were test driving it back in 1968. After 53 years with this car it is like family to me. First car for me when I was old enough to drive and all original to this day.
Give an old car guy a barn and he won't throw anything away.

I wouldn't say no to the Australian, Duncan and Fraser Ltd. 'tulip' bodied roadster, circa 1911.
I’m reading a book about anti-gravity. I just can’t put it down.

999 or the Arrow... or any one of the early "Ford Special" race cars (since they were not technically a production T)...
More realistically, an F2 with a flathead V8 and 4WD.

That could set you back a few $'s!
I have the F2, 1948 6 cyl factory 3 speed but just 2 wheel drive. It's like driving a Model A only not as fast! For pulling the 6 might be better anyway.

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
https://www.farmcollector.com/company-h ... d-tractor/ I'd get by with one of these.
If you folks know of one of these for sale let me know! Shouldn't be worth much because it's not really a Ford!

Like Steve Jelf, an A would be nice. But my 26 touring must be true love because my eyes don't wander like they used to.

I think nostalgia often drives the old car hobby. My dad had a 1955 Customline. I wouldn't mind a Fairlane from that year. On the other hand (nostalgia again) I also wouldn't mind a 1958 Volvo PV444 (my first car) or a 1956 Chrysler Windsor.

I have two Model T’s and a 1966 Mustang Convertible and that was my ultimate dream! However, now at 68 I would love a

I have a 1908 S roadster that has been in our family since 1947. And I have the privilege to be the next caretaker of a 1906 model F touring. I guess I have my dream. Sad however because it came from a good friends estate.

RajoRacer,
Seeing your photograph of your wife's car with Concorde, reminded me of a charity event run at London Heathrow a few years ago where we gave rides in 2 Model Ts and a Model C in exchange for donations to charity.
My choice of more Fords would be:=
1905 Model F as I think the early two-cylinder cars are superb
1905 Model B as I think it was ahead of its time
194x SEEP as I would love to drive one of those down the street and into the river for cruise around.

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?
May be considered too new for this group, but I would like to get my hands on a gen 3 galaxie 500 some day. I love the look of the stacked headlights, and it would be nice to have a classic car that keeps pace with traffic.
It would be cool to find one built as the police interceptor, but I don't have to have a numbers matching car to be happy.
