We all sometimes think of the car I should have kept and not sold. I have several in mind, 1965 Mustand convert, the 1932 B400, The 1909 right hand drive Model T Roadster and perhaps a few more (The 1918 Chev "hardtop" coupe is one.) What car should you have kept and not sold?

I meant to say"we " not not just "I". we all have a car in mind we should have kept,

The K on the left was mine. A woman made me get rid of it to get the roadster in the middle. At least I got my initial investment out of the car. Not so much for the woman.......

You ended up with a better woman!

One I let get away......

1962 Chrysler 300H two-door hardtop. I drove that car to a tad over 142 mph when I was young and stupid. It was however, a wonderful automobile. I sold it because I needed the money to get married. 51 years later I still have the girl. I would do the same if I had it to do over, but I wish that I hadn't had to, though.

!941 Mercury convertible, 1947 Mercury 1/2 ton, 1951 Ford 1/2 ton, 1955 Ford 4 door sedan, 1964 Mercury Park Lane 4 doors of hardtop.

In 1979 I had a 69 Torino Cobra with a 428 CJ engine I had purchased from a friend. It had 35K miles on it. That same year another car buddy told me about a dark blue 67 Shelby Mustang for sale at the local Sinclair gas station. I went over there, took the Shelby around the block to check it out. What a car! The owner told me he would take my Torino Cobra and $6K in cash for the Shelby. At that time in my life $6K may as well have been a million dollars. Couldn't do it. A few years later I sold the Torino to fund another car project. Now I often think about both the Torino and the Shelby, especially when I'm watching Mecum or Barrett Jackson auctions on tv.
