What’s the best way to trailer a Tudor Sedan on a open trailer? Frontward or backwards?

If only for the sake of proper tongue weight I would say forward. Deoends on the length if the trailer though.

Two schools of thought.

Forward; you can break the visor by catching wind under it. I did that, but then the visor frame had been rusted and weakened already.
Backwards; you risk poor weight distribution and control issues on your trailer. Plus, it can be a b**ch backing a T onto a trailer.

I hauled this Fordor facing back, as far forward as it would go. Had no trouble with tracking or control. Whether it faces forward or back, my 55 mph towing speed limit doesn't allow any wind damage. No law says I have to go fast.

Yup. It really just depends on your trailer. It wouldn't work on my small, single axle, trailer.

Tow the T's on the trailers face forward. Pulled this coupe that way, 65mph, no issues with the visor.

Perhaps if you pulled faster? But why. Don't want to overrun your lower speed-rated trailer tires

It's not about how fast you drive. It's about the headwind you're driving into. Especially gusts. Fifty MPH, into a 50 MPH headwind = 100 MPH.
The 26/27 visors are closed at the ends and can build up more air pressure underneath. Couple that with the fact that original visor frames most likely have some rust damage...

Don't get me wrong, I tow facing forward too. Just saying, it can happen.

I always tow my coupe and fordor backward for long trips for better airflow around the car instead of the flat windshield and visor, i also wrap it with stretch wrap to keep the nick and bugs off, i have never had a tracking issue and i have four wheel brakes so no issues there, i do pull it facing forward for short trips and keep the speed at around 60.
