I believe this is the current view of Roseville, CA photo posted above. It is at the corner of Vernon and Lincoln Street and unfortunately, the historic features from the original photo have mostly disappeared. The area where it looks like there is a city block missing is where the Union Pacific Railroad tracks run. The road crossed over the tracks until the 1950s, when an underpass was added a block away. The street now ends at the tracks and begins again on the other side. The corner building on the left of the old photo I believe is the local Ford Dealer. That building is long gone and now is the 1970s phone company building seen in the modern photo.
