You can Google luray va restaurants and read the reviews, but you don't really know how you would like it until you try it. I've gone to places other people recommended and found that they absolutely sucked. Recently our local paper published a poll of readers' favorite places, and the joint voted "Best Mexican Restaurant" was obviously chosen by clueless Gringos. I tried the place once and won't be back. One person's swell dining is another person's big disappointment.

Better look to see if they are open.
Last Hershey I stayed at a Hampton inn in Va because next door was a restaurant and when you are pulling a trailer you can’t just stop anywhere. Looked this year and all the restaurants around it were temp closed or drive thu only. Dan

Brookside, small home cooking, need reservations

Dan’s Steak House, out of town a ways up the hills from the Caverns

A good Mexican restaurant , it’s nice.

And good Italian and pizza restaurant in local shopping center, eat in, both the Mexican and Italian are just across the road from each other

Have dined in all the above and good eats.

Or fine dining at the Mimslyn Inn , white table cloth
type, top place with prices to match, will be trying it this year.

The Italian place on Main st. (think it's called Vesivius?) was great last Oct. Great food, big portions, and nice prices. I'm going to try the Mimslyn too if I sell enough stuff.
