Magneto Horn Repair

I purchased a magneto horn several months back. I was a able to test it this morning. It was making a noise, then went silent. I kind of figured it would have to be rebuilt when I got it.
Are there any repair folks I can contact? Is there a rebuild kit available? I've done some looking around and have come up blank.
As always, many thanks in advance for any insight.

As long as there is continuity through the coil the horn should work.
There are no points or other electro-mechanical moving parts - only a coil that causes the diaphragm to vibrate.
The horn will not work if a DC voltage is applied.

The inside of my horn.
A bit confused at this point.
Pretty old and beat up.

Assemble it, hook it up to mag power, and try turning the adjusting screw to different positions. As Bob says, if there's continuity through the coil it should work.

Brooks : The diaphragm needs space to move, and that's provided by two paper "gaskets", one on each side of the diaphragm. Make sure that the adjustment screw and locking nut are free before assembling it to make final adjustment easier (possible). Cheers : Bruce

Magneto horns need to be tested and adjusted with AC power, not DC. An old electric toy train transformer or door bell transformer works good.
I know someone that has a magneto horn hooked up as his door bell.
