Metal stemmed inner tubes

Does anyone have a source for new metal stemmed inner tubes? I'm in need of a full set of metal stemmed inner tubes for my 1910, both 30 x 3 and 30 x 3.5 tubes. Any suggestions? Lang's told me they are on back order and have been for quite some time. I tried using the rubber stemmed inner tube on my clincher and the stem is way too short; it doesn't protrude far enough past the wooden fello and makes it extremely difficult to install!

Try Lucas Tire. They had them in stock. I bought a set and they seem fine.

Tractor/truck tyre suppliers will have screw-on brass extensions which will allow you to use the tubes you have. They come in multiple lengths and with/without bends.
Hope this helps.

If you use the one Steve posted, it may or may not be correct. It must be a Schrader 777 or 888 to work on a T. The ones supplied by the vendors are not correct, so there is no reason to waste you time. The best bet is to find originals, and install them yourself by removing the rubber stem. I've been doing this for years.

I'll disagree partially with Larry. While 777 and 888 are correct, 724 and 725 will work on a T even though they're larger and not correct. How do I know? Because my 1915 is currently wearing them. Nobody will know unless they take the covers off.
