Clamps! I nearly ran out.

As discussed previously I went with Titebond III viewtopic.php?f=2&t=20040&p=152776&hilit=glue#p152776 but may have to go back with epoxy for 2 larger than expected joint gaps or maybe just build it up with Titebond III.

Ignacio, Reminds me of the old steering wheel spinner knobs that people used to attach to their steering wheels, except yours aren't spaced out around the wheel. You should have plenty to grab a hold of to turn your wheels, if they don't beat your chest or stomach to death when turning it.

I've seen this type of repair done by wrapping an old inner tube (stretched tite) around the glue joint. Might make some sense to wrap it with cling wrap first to make removal easier.

Ratchet straps help, too...

It is coming along. I have it mostly sanded better than what the pictures show. The worst was duct tape residue that had soaked in. I am probably going to do cherry stain but is yellow done with honey oak stain or no stain? https://duckduckgo.com/?q=model+t+ford+ ... &ia=images

One of the joints was loose and clicking but not wide enough to use the bottle to put Titebond III in. Further separation would cause damage. Solution: Syringe with a 30 gauge needle. Worked perfect.

Stained but not clear coated yet.
