Hi Folks, wondering if anyone knows the approximate weight of a 1926 Model T roadster body, where everything has been removed. (No steering column, no fuel tank, no interior, no turtle deck, etc)
Mine has some significant rust issues and I want to get the body off of the frame so I can evaluate the issue better and hopefully figure out best corrective actions but I'm wondering how many big burly man-types I will need to corral to get this thing off!!
Thank you

In case someone doesn't have an exact weight to answer your question, I clipped these from:
https://www.conceptcarz.com/s1963/Ford-Model-T.aspx
If my math is right everything but the chassis weighs 830 lbs. Minus fenders, running boards, splash aprons etc and top would give you the weight.
I hope you can get closer than that but if you can't this may help.

That weight includes the trunk. As you described, 2 guys can move it around. To walk it off a chassis, 3 guys. One @ each door & 1 in back.
4 guys with 2 long 2x4's recently set a complete town car body onto a chassis for a club member.

Thank you guys! Appreciate the information. (And I loved the picture of y'all picking up the touring body!!)
Now to plan a BBQ or similar and invite some of the local Georgia chapter to "brunch"
Thanks again!
