Does anyone have any photos they would share with me for that 1927 Model T display engine.

I have enough not so good parts that could be very good for a display engine.

I have photos of several of them taken in different places and times, but they are all lost now.

I took these at the Henry Ford Museum in 1964. They might be vintage by now. :D

I had the opportunity to do some conservation work on the display engine at the Wheels O Time Museum in Peoria, Il. This was an original Ford display unit that had been donated by Ford to a local school. It had the appearance of being at least partially disassembled at times in the past. My work consisted of cleaning up and conserving the unit, NOT changing the original engine paint or other important details.

More photos...Note that the machined surfaces had all been protected by shellac or varnish

Not surprisingly, the oil pan appeared to be a reject, unfit for use on a car

Ron and Bob, these are all great photos, thank you!

I also called Classic Auto Parts and they are sending some photos of their unit.

I volunteered to buy a catalog at least and they will have a new one in about 30 days now.

One of our forum members made one of these a few years ago. I will not post his name with out OK. But if you keep moving this back to the top I am sure he will see it and post. Dan

Here's another cut-away engine. This one is being auctioned in Lincoln Nebraska this weekend. Current bid is at $350.
