Seat spring size

Post by Magnusw » Tue Jun 22, 2021 6:29 am

Hi,
can someone give me the precise measurements of the front and rear original Ford spring cushions and also for the front and rear backrest springs. What I need is the outer measurments, as I have problems to make the new Snyders upholstery kit parts fit, especially on the front cushion.
Thanks

I'm sure to get an answer for you question, one would need to know year and body style.

The Model T in my question is a 1919 US built Touring car.

I was given the front seat section of a 1919 or 1920 touring. It looked like the upholstery had never been off. The back cushion was hung off the tack rail, there was a piece of upholstery card stock between it and the body, no other support. The bottom cushion is; 17-1/2" X 36-3/4" (44.45 X 93.345 CM). If you need the front seat back rest, I can get that later.
