Wahmonie Nevada. The first and maybe, “only” business women at the remote mining district of Wahmonie in 1928. The site of the last Gold Rush in the United States. I’m glad we have Photograph’s of Wahmonie, since the district of Wahmonie and hundreds of adjoining square miles have been restricted by the U.S. government for many decades …….

From the look of those rugged ladies, they didn't mind the hardship of having to substitute kerosene for drinking water....
