I never "tire" of Chickasha....

I spent more at Chickasha this year than ever before. Tires and wire wheels from Mike Lebsack, speedo and fixings from Russ Furstnow, and assorted items. Aren't hobbies fun? (and pricey).

Of course, rest and relaxation is always encouraged at Chickasha.....

And the lady in the 4th photo asks "Rob, what are you doing?" "Come sit down"
Pray tell. Do tell about the wheels and tires
I can guess tho.
Every pic from Chickasha is a treat for some of us!
Thanks Rob!

I hate to hear the news that
Chickasha Meet will end after next year. I have enjoyed going there over the last 20 years or so, as a buyer and seller. I hate to say that I could not make it this year . I remember seeing the decline over the past few years as fewer and fewer of the old guys returned. Selling spaces declined. Really sorry for this but I would like to Thank all who worked so hard to make this the Place to say" goodbye" to old man winter . Years of fun!

Regarding your top picture, Rob:

Where is the fourth tire ? Was the camera man holding it ?

Dick, we are putting 30x3 1/2 on the front and 32x4 on the rear. This will give us a bit higher gearing (along with 3:1 dif). Ford had both 30x3.5 and 32x4 tires and wheels on their 1910-1912 racers.

I bought 3 30x3.5 and Mike L. already had two 33x4 tires. I'll get another so we can carry a spare of each tire.

If you're interested in parting with the 30x3.5 white/grey smooth tyres on the car now Rob, I could be a buyer.

Thanks Peter. I'all probably hang on to them for a while until I decide if the wires always stay on, or if the wood smooth tires go on for car shows, etc.

Hi, Rob --

I heard that you were at Chickasha but didn't see you. Sorry I missed you.

Didn’t get to make it this year but hope to next year. I did hear or read that it may relocate or someone else will take it over. I hope so.
Hopefully it will be in Texas or Oklahoma.
Does anyone know if the meet in Denton that use to be February is still meeting?
