Two questions; what was the last year for all white tires? And should all model T's have a drain plug on the Rear end ?

Good Morning Vincent.... not certain on the white tires, but there was only one access on the differential. A suction gun used to remove lubricant, pump or squeeze bottle to add lubricant

Ford had many suppliers for tires, few actual serviving examples exist today. Period photos show light colored tires throughout model t production, could be white, could be grey, could be gum. The highly documentd rip van winkle 1917 touring had origional front smooth tires, black with hand painted double white walls. Darker tires are more common in photos on later year model ts, might be grey, black, red. I was at Benson Ford Research Center last week and looked at some baloon tire drawings and did not notice a color specified. Bottom line, no definitive answer except early years typically light, later years typically dark...whatever light and dark actually are.

When I rebuild rear ends I install a drain plug, not correct but, may come in handy.
