Any other T owners in SW Florida?

Post by John Codman » Sun Jul 11, 2021 5:34 pm

The title says it all. Are there any other T owners in the Naples (Collier County) Florida area? I had a bunch of T friends when I lived in Massachusetts, but after six year I haven't found another T owner here in Collier County.

I did get one response from RJ in North Ft. Myers. I'll call him in the next couple of days, but he's still 50 non-friendly Model T miles away. I would love to see his Ts, but if he invites me to have a look, I'll do it in a modern car. Anyone here in Collier County?

Clearwater is about 150 T-unfriendly miles north of me. I wish they were farther South.

What does the miles away have to do with finding club members that might be closer? We have members in our T club that live further away than that. Do they come to the meetings, no! Do they come on tours, no! Do they drive up and help do club Duty at the Portland Swap Meet, yes! But they are listed in the club roster, which is my point. Reading that last statement, did you join or reach out to that club?

No, but I will. I wasn't thinking along those lines. A great suggestion. Thanks!
