Just a quick note to let you know how my "fix" for tire slippage is working.

Changing from Universal T Drivers to Firestone Tires and coating the inside of the Clincher rim with pickup bed liner has stopped tire slippage on my T.

I am using 60 - 65 PSI inflation.

I have driven my T on several excursions and a day long tour and everything is holding in place.

The more I drive my T, the more confident I am that The problem is solved.

Well done Bob. The slippage was likely as a result of a combination of slick new rims and a narrower bead on the current tyre offerings. You fixed it by addressing the slick rim.
If anyone has a similar problem, there may be another way to address it. When I cut rim liners from the outside diameter of a 13" inner tube, I cut that strip wide enough that the edges fall under the rolled edge of the rim. When the tyre is fitted and inflated, the narrower modern bead jams down on the liner in the rim bead. This makes the tyre bead a firmer fit in the rim, and the rubber -to- rubber fit addresses the slick factor at the same time.
