Re: Model TT trucks galore
I spent approximately 4 hours looking these over this past weekend. Lot's of good sheetmetal and parts.
Funny thing I noticed. All those trucks and not a single set of aftermarket springs!

Holy mackerel! Shame that they were left go like that, but just the view of them all lined up is impressive.

When I was a kid, sights like this were not uncommon, and for
whatever reason, I was very drawn to the look, smell, and feel
of rusty old machinery that lingered behind the barns, along fence
lines, and empty lots. It is a sickness, and there is no cure.

More people are doing it today than ever before !

Wonder what the chances of the 29/30 Chevrolet dump truck making it back there from Oregon are? Reminds me of the one Dad had when I was very young! That one is even missing the bottom seat cushion, his never had one. He sat on the 22 Cat seat, me I got the board over the seat frame.

Re stuff out behind the barn, me it was more what I could see through the cracks or windows in the barn! :)That was even the more forbidden treasures.

John drug them home over the last 50 years. They looked almost exactly the same now as then. Things don't rust in this neck of the woods like other places. Most of the worst damage to the sheet metal is bullet holes!

Re: Model TT trucks galore
Michael is correct, it's nearly a time warp out there. The trucks should be pretty well preserved,
I have an OT piece (Old Tractor) from close by there and it was quite nicely preserved in that environment.
The (OT) IH trucks caught my attention but my plate is full. I'll make sure an IH friend knows about this.
Thanks for posting this Jay!
Mike: I didn't realize John was really cleaning house. Thanks for the pics!

Re: Model TT trucks galore
Wow! That is incredible!!
Here in Georgia those trucks wouldn't exist due to the rain/moisture we see here - would just be piles of rusted frames/blocks/etc.
Very cool to see, and not just TT's, some T's, some early cars from Chevy, Nash, etc. (I especially liked the model T tractor conversions)
