I didn't buy much this time: fourteen magneto headlight bulbs for $20; a pair of Holley G carburetor bodies for $15; and a Holley G bowl for $5. One of the G bodies is the pre-starter bronze version, and will be very pretty when cleaned and rebuilt.

I’ve passed up hundreds of those running board fences or whatever you call them over the years so I bought one. I couldn’t pass up a genuine “Bool” hubcap for 25¢ either.

Got a few goodies on Thursday in the field outside, that was the best time, fun! Other stuff on Friday searches.
Nice small tool box with hasp riveted in place from years after the original key was lost! Like it this way.
Speedster steering lowering blocks, hub cap, another odd timer for the Timer wall of Shame, (long lost oddball designs), plus some nice spring hangers.
And another water pump to join the others on display nailed to the garage rafter!

Need some more? I got three of them on some 28-29 model A wheels for FREE! Looks like some importer was trying to skate around Ford licensing....

The Model A hub caps were a re stamp. They were stamped with Ford but were unlicensed product. In order to sell them, the manufacture had to over stamp the Ford script with ether Bool or Fool.

It cost me nearly $1000 for airfare, hotel, rental car and food. I spent less than $100 for parts. Is that worth it?
Chickasha is only half the size it was a few years ago. Why? Several things. A lot of us old guys are dying, and many of us like myself are hoarding parts.

And when Larry says he only spent $100, that means he bought every New-Old-Stock part that was there...

The biggest item I brought home came out of the trash can.
A little more patching and it will be tour ready
