The two object were in a box of antique auto parts. I have no idea as to what they are!!

Some, the one in the right appears to be a brake light switch. Aftermarket, as they mostly all are.

Your item on the right in your picture IS a brake light switch.
I installed an identical switch on my 1914 Metz.
I installed both of the brake lamp switches in this picture on my Metz, one for each brake pedal.
