I'm very proud to announce that my 1915 Model T Coupelet was awarded the 2021 Stynoski Award at the MTFCI Tour in New, Philadelphia, OH. The Coupelet was up against a beautiful 1910 Model T Tourabout owned by Larry DeBaugh. The cars were parked in the New Philadelphia courthouse grounds and made for a beautiful setting. Many of you may have seen an earlier posting about the coupelet showing the progress of the restoration.
Thanks to all of the judges who thoroughly went over each car with a "fine tooth" comb, and good luck to Larry in future shows.
Russ Furstnow

Congratulations! Well earned and well deserved. I had very much enjoyed following threads on your restoration of that car, and believed then that the Stynoski Award was in your and the car's future.
An incredible restoration!

Congratulations Russ. I first saw the coupolet at Ernie Romero’s and several times since then and Yes, I am also mesmerized by the quality of workmanship and beauty. In other words, it’s a ton of time, blood, sweat and Money. Way to go Russ. I bet Kathy is proud as well. Frank

Congrats Russ! I knew it was a Stynoski when you "showed it off" on the forum a while back. Nice car.

Congratulations to both owners. In looking at the pictures it’s easy to see that both cars are deserving of special attention. I like them both and would love to have either one in my garage.

Congratulations Russ on winning the Stynowski award. Both cars were fine examples of the quality needed for the award. I was glad I didn't have to judge this class.
More importantly, Congratulations on getting the Life Time Achievement award. You have contributed immensively to the hobby, and we are all the better for it. I continually refer to the judging guidelines when working on my cars (evidenced by the coffee stains : )

Congratulations Russ! Thank you for bringing the car to the National Tour in Spokane prior to the MTFCI event and allow others an up close and personal viewing. After wishing you luck I thought to myself that was the best looking restoration I had ever seen and luck wouldn’t be needed. Having stiff competition is further proof of the outstanding work you did.

1915 Model T Fords are very special. The Ford Company bought them from several suppliers and these bodies were "top of the Line". The 1916 closed bodies were almost the same, so the 1915-16 closed bodies are all in a special class. That now said, let us congraulate the owner of the runner up. That is a wonderful example of a 1910 Model T open car. The Tourablout is a "One Year Wonder" and is an roadster with additions. I admire all 1909-1916 Fords,as the 73 year owner of a 1910 touring. My T is a runner, mostly correct, but it is mine and I enjoy it. What is not correct, I have in parts, so someday someone with Russes skill and talent can turn my T into something similar to these two great cars.

Darel Leipold, age 89.

Congratulations, Russ. Your Coupelet is a very pristine car and certainly deserving of the Stynoski award.
Your years of service to both the MTFCI and the MTFCA clubs as well as being the only President of both clubs make you quite deserving of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Again, Congratulations!
Keith
