A known supplier, Brassworks, entering into the Model T gas tank market.

HOORAY I hope that will start building gas tanks for the 26 and 27 models.

Round and oval petrol tanks are rolled sheetmetal products, ideal for manufacturing in a sheetmetal shop with equipment already on hand. 26-7 tanks involve compound curves requiring dies and presses. Tooling up for these would require considerable expense and equipment investment, which is probably why it hasn't been done.

That is very good news indeed. A new tank solves a lot of issues.

You got that right Paul!! I've always preached quit messing around with an old rusty tank when a new one, like you said, solves the problem.

I hope the Brassworks does a better job on them than their radiators!

That's great news all things considered AND they're manufactured to Ford specifications.

I relay to new T owners that a new radiator & gas tank will minimize much grief when stating out in the hobby !
