Picked up my 1924 Model TT One ton Truck. Fully restored. Rocky Mountain Transmission. This is my 5th Model T Ford over the years. Tops out at about 28 MPH. . 0 to 25 in 1.5 minuets. Ha Ha Ha . Mark

The engine number is a November 1925 number. It has been registered as a 1924 for decades. I'm thinking it is an early 1926?

Ford did not introduce the closed cab truck to the public until 29 April,1925, which still would have been a 1924 model year truck. Ford model years ran from August to July back then, which tend to confuse folks. So a TT made between Jan-July 1925 would have been a 1924 model year truck and so registered (where registrations were required).

No. The 1924 model year would be August 1923 through July 1924. The 1925 model year is August 1924 through July 1925. The model year usually comes four months before the calendar year, not behind it. This November 1925 truck is a 1926 model. That's why it has the 1926 pedals and steering column. That it has always been registered as a 1924 is not the least bit surprising. It's extremely common for these old Fords to be registered a year or two off, and sometimes even more. I have a 1924 TT project that was sold to me as a 1922, and the guy who sold me my 1923 touring thought it was 1922. People simply misunderstand or misremember what they read or hear, and there you go.
