I havent seen this truck and its too far to view but I'm helping a guy to get a 25 TT back on the road via email.
Its a wooden flat deck with no cab on it yet and single speed diff.
He said he can't push it around the garage.
Is it just a simple rear brake grabbing (I havent suggested to check for that yet) or is it because of the extra weight, rear end ratio and/or being worm drive?
i.e. Are all TT's like this?

It is the way the rear axle is constructed.
A car rear axle has two gears the TT rear axle has a gear and a worm.

The worm make it very difficult to puch the truck.

Kevin, it should be 'pushable' but heavy. If he can't move it then it could be all kinds of things. Seized wheel bearing, seized inner axle bearing, seized worm/ drive shaft bearings, stuck brakes or even just rusted up gunk in the diff.
Where is the chap you are helping? There will be a Model T club of NZ member nearby who can have a look (after 'lock down' that is ).

Quick checks:
Jack rear end on one side only - see how freely the wheel moves. Lower and repeat other side.
Take out oil drain and see what colour/oil comes out.
Check front wheels too! One of those could be stuck.

The worm doesn't make it hard to push. My 22 TT has an auxiliary transmission. With that in neutral I can push it with one hand.

Clutch adjustment can be off. Thick, dirty crankcase oil can also cause clutch drag.

Incorrectly adjusted bands, clutch, hand brakes, too thick oil, worn out brake drum lugs, worn out pedal cams will all cause what you're describing.

They don't push easily, period. In neutral, with an aux. trans is as
easy as it can make it. But expect one to want to stay right where it
sits, without some "Oomph!" thrown at it. Mine rolls pretty easy, now
that I have gone through everything, but it is nowhere near as easy as
when I put it up on skates for the winter. With those, it just glides like
on ice skates. I guess the answer here is all in the pusher's definition
of "easy".

I will be working on a TT chassis tomorrow. One issue: when we pushed it in, The right brake shoes activated. The cam lever had to be jiggled to free up. I know nothing of TT's. The owner & an assistant with no T knowledge have been working on it. There are no brake shoe return springs. Missing? Not in the design? Any thoughts?

The springs will be missing. They are heavy duty ones to match the shoes size.

We could not push this TT either. It is a 'barn find' in beautiful original condition with a lovely locally made Kauri wood cab and deck.
Under the gunk the hyatt bearings on the worm drive shaft were rusted and seized. It looks like water had entered the upper worm housing and sat there for some time. Cleaned and replaced with 'spares from the box' this one runs well now:

When I got mine, it was in a semi trailer. I jacked it up removed one wheel, removed axel key, lubed it real well, wheel back on, and zinco.

As was posted, the worm drive TT rearend is not hard to move, IF it has an auxiliary transmission with a neutral and /or the TT transmission is adjusted correctly. I have seen it said on this forum in the past and elsewhere, that the TT rear will NOT move without sliding the tires. Think about it, if that was the case, everytime the stock transmission was shifted from low to high or vice versa, the wheels would slide while in neutral. That doesn't happen does it? Dave
