Hi Bryan,

Yes, you live in Florida and have no snow, but Florida has beaches with SAND. Just remove the skis and you have a Sandmobile.

Quitcherbitchen and open your wallet. ;)

It's great to have dreams. We have snow here. We look forward to it in the hot weather but by January we would trade back to the heat if we could. "Always wanting what is not".
Fun to see it.

When did I do that?

That is part of the Hemken Collection in Iowa.
It looks like they are auctioning off the entire collection.
I visited that auto museum several years ago.
It wasn't far from the Bily Clocks. Both worth while stops!

Looks like this has a standard T car rear, not the TT rear axle. ???

For those who may be interested please note the photos appear to show it is equipped with an auxillary transmission, possisbly Warford, a 1914 - 25 non-starter coilbox with keyswitch in the face. Also it is missing a battery box within the rear of the frame if it would fit there. Knowledge is power.

If there was more snow in TN I might have been more interested.

Sowflyers and Snowbirds did not use TT rear axles like Snowmobiles and Eskimobiles. Glenn

I followed the auction today. The Snowbird went for $20k, plus a buyer premium of 20% internet, or 10% in person. Some cars went for less than they should have, some for more, the top dollar sale today was a 1969 Corvette for $400k, yes, 0.4 mil. A real nice restored 1933 Rolls Royce phaeton only brought $52k. One of my favorites there was a 1948 Lincoln Continental convertible V12 in nice unrestored condition only brought $18k. A 1928 model A roadster in rough unrestored complete condition on display in the museum since the 1960's only brought $2.5k. I didn't buy anything.
