how do you make a Side mount spare tire bracket for a 1924 model t roadster pickup

Are you asking how to make a part like the photo or did you make it?

I don't see these available from our vendors. Does anyone have specifications for those of us who would like to fabricate one?

Driveshaft tube, radious rod end, wire wheel spare tire mount and a plate for bottom.

To be able to use that type of bracket you will need the Y piece to accept lugged 23" beaded edge rims, unless you have T wire wheels. Or am I missing something?

These are two photos of the spare tire carrier I had made by a local welder. I provided a drive shaft tube and spare tire bracket. He did the rest. I got a copy of the original Ford blueprints from someone off this forum but don’t remember who. Unfortunately, the welder tossed the prints when he finished. I have wire wheels so don’t need the Y required for wood spoke wheels.

I have one of these puppies. Would anyone be interested ? It is a pricey piece. I bought a bed years ago and it came with it.the guy jokingly said I bought the mount the bed just came with it.
