26 tt truck shifters

someone explain all the shifters in my tt truck please. rear axle has a shifter. i assume it is a two speed. high and low is forward low and back is high. then there is the jumbo transmission. What is the shift pattern?
where can i learn these things. HELP

Hello John, some photos of the rear axle and the gear case boxes will help folks to see what your working with. Some are high low (overdrive or under drive) some may have a neutral so you should also have auxiliary brakes on outside of your rear brake drums.

If you are talking about the shift lever on the rear end, sounds more than likely that it is a Ruckstell. That would only be underdrive and direct and if you are talking about the lever on the rear end itself, then yes that is correct. If yours is a Jumbo Giant mounted right behind the engine;

My TT Ruckstell is forward high and rearward low. Have you discovered the Jumbo shift pattern yet ?

He is talking about the lever at the rear end as I read it, not the lever in the cab. But correct if for lever in the cab re the Ruckstell.
