				Connecting rods

				I have to cut and weld model A and model T rods together. Where is the best place to do it  Near the big end or small end or in the middle.

				A friend  bought 2 bumac cranks from snyders but when they arrived the journals were model a size. I have line bored the block and rebabitted and burned to suit. You used to be able to get egge pistons to suit but not now I believe. Therefore I need to cut the model a rods and weld on part of a t rod to get the right t Gurgaon end and thr right length.  I think Les Schubert has done this before but I don't know how to get in touch with him.

				I believe that Scat makes a rod that is model A on the big end and model T on the small end. I will look thru my notes to verify.
