Looking forward to the tourabout photos. My favorite early body style. Always enjoyed when Dave Huson would post photos of his.

I also look forward to pictures of the tourabout! Of course I like that '15 as well. I do like the brass era!

A very interesting looking car! I have a late '12 chassis project with some of an open roadster (mother-in-law) body. I have seriously wondered about doing it as a tourabout. It wouldn't be a totally right car that way, but it wouldn't be a really wrong car either. People were putting after-market seats behind the roadster seat well before Ford offered the tourabout for 1910, and continued to so so after Ford offered the option. I have even seen a picture of a pre-T Ford (NRS) with such a seat (a bit cramped), and a few other marques runabouts so equipped.
I hope you are planning to thoroughly enjoy all three of those cars!

Nice looking cars! But I'm curious about the 1912; in the photo of the engine, the engine pan bolts all appear to be upside down, with the castle nuts on the bottom. Did Ford sometimes install them like this? It sure appears to be an original, untouched engine but maybe not.

Not a whole lot of information on these cars as the owner passed away about five years ago, and been in probate, all the cars I wish I could keep but with the shop and no room they will all be getting sold, will try to post some better pictures later, Bob

Sure is a nice bunch of cars. Wish I had a garage like that! I really like the '15 and the '25. It would be nice to see more pictures of them, and more information too, like serial numbers. Thanks for sharing.

Bob-
How wonderful! So nice to see survivor cars.
Too bad there are no factory records to tell you anything about the 1912. I can tell you it is early fiscal 1912, probably October, 1911. Can you see a cast date above the water inlet? If it is original, there should be a date on the head at the center bolt hole. There should NOT be Made in USA on the head.

Bill, I can tell you the engine is not untouched. The hump behind the timing gear is a dead giveaway that this engine was originally equipped with the oil-fill timer, which turned out to be a leaky mess. The timing gear cover has been replaced and a regular time installed.

The original body likely was a 1911 body without fore-doors.

No casting date, and the head must have been replaces as it has MADE IN USA on it

The 25 is # 11524067
The 12 is # 82601 and body # on dash is 82763

Bob-
No casting date above the water inlet where the serial number is on later cars?
Would you kindly post a pic of the dash plat tag?
Thanks
-Keith

Bob: Thanks for the additional pictures. I have never seen a dash tag with that configuration before!

Phil: I didn't realize how close in s/n it is to your car. It is interesting your serial number is lower than Bob's, but your dash tag is higher.

All: The number on the dash tag on Bob's car "matches" (they don't match but are "close") with the engine of his car, NOT the 1910 tourabout body.

By the way, the clip on the windshield frame is a side curtain clip. It attached the side curtain to the windshield frame.

Hello Robert You mentioned that the low head on your 1912 T has Made in USA so it is a replacement , My original head on my 1912 has Made in USA on it ,but is much smaller than the later heads. Cheers Colin
