Can you explain further? My brain is foggy this morning and “card inserts” do not register. Explain where on the Model T are you talking. Engine, electrical, upholstery?

If the above are what you are enquiring about, they are easil cut from 3mm MDF. These can even be sewn through if required.

Thats it. Thanks guys. Sorry for the late reply. For some reason I didn't get notified of the replies.
Next question is can i get the material from spotlight (Australia) or does it have to be from a model t parts reseller?

Re: Make or buy Card/inserts
Shawn, 3mm MDF is available at any decent hardware shop, in a variety of sheet sizes, so you don't need to be able to carry a 1200 x 2400 sheet!
As far as I know, the original leatherboard has long been unavailable. I bought the last big sheet from an upholstery supplier rears ago. When i got home it was no longer in the tray of my ute!!!!!

Thanks Allan, I'll go to bunnings and get the mdf. What about the cloth? Where did you get that from? What was originally in a 26 coupe?
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

A fellow used to advertise the correct closed car upholstery material in the USA. I think his name was Bill Hirsch? That was a while ago now, so sources/material availability may have changed. Others on the forum may be able to update you.

If you are looking for upholstery material, you can purchase a la carte from Mike Francis at Classtique. You don't have to buy a kit.
