Ok here is a mystery to me but perhaps not to you. Prior to the OCF, I went to check the coolant level in my reproduction 1910 radiator and found this rubber thing laying on the top of the V fin inside! It's obviously been in there for some time as it's got a bit of rusty stuff on it. I just recently got the T together, so I haven't been running it much prior to the OCF. I'm not familiar enough with the innards of a radiator, but could this be a part of the inside of the radiator???

I think it’s part of a hose nozzle that fell off in there when filling with garden hose. Maybe similar to picture, some nozzles have a rubber cover to protect end from dropping

I may have missed it but do you have pictures posted of the car now that it is almost done? (I saw the wheel picture from OCF) When I saw the picture with the rear wheel off in another thread I noticed the car had to be a 1909 or 1910 but didn't know it was yours till you said something!

Sorry Bob, I actually just got the car fully operational a few weeks prior to OCF. In fact, the last year was a blur! I still have plenty to do on it, but I was determined to make the festival.

Outer ring of a two piece 'safety cap'. Pinch the ring and the inside splines engage the cap to remove/tighten. Unpinched ring spins on outside of cap preventing user from opening container? ymmv

Not a piece of a radiator.
