Would someone who has experience fastening the seat back springs to the belt rails on a 1923-25 Touring car please let me know how they did it, including the position of the springs?

There is a tool called a Hog tie for fastening the springs try Langs[attachment=0]DSC01039.JPG

The hog rings are for attaching the material to the springs that can be taken out. Most all the Model T open cars used a channel in the bottom spring to clamp the fabric. The back rest spring would be attached with a strip(s) of material or there would be little bent metal hangers that are screwed to the belt rail. The bottom of the back rest spring is not attached, it just hangs there. Then the padding and cover are attached to the belt rail. The photos are of a 1920ish back rest spring clips.

Thanks. Could you tell me the position of the back rest in relation to the belt rail? How Much lower than the belt rail should it be positioned, both front and rear seats.

Can someone post pics of how the seat back spring is fastened to the belt rail either in front or rear of the 23-25 Tourings?
